It was the time if the day she dreaded the most: evening. As she was very careful the last few weeks by not staying out to late, she totally forgot the time after she received a phone call of her father. She talked a solid two hours with him and now it was starting to get really late. It was dark when she left the Pokémon Center and although she had to walk a few blocks, she left Suco out of his Poké Ball so she could have at least some company. She had Pebble, Inferno and Renard with his in their Poké Ball’s and could call them out if she wanted to, but she didn’t want to make them worried. She let her Golbat fly into the air and she saw how he disappeared, knowing that he would return back immediately if she needed his help. That gave her a little bit of a safe feeling, but apparently it wasn’t enough. A figure approached her and Evelyn’s heart felt like it was stuck in her throat when she noticed the man had blue hair. Or maybe it was just her imagination. She stumbled a few steps backwards. She swore she could see the figure creepily smile at her and she stumbled a bit more, finally losing her balance and falling on the ground. She scraped her arm against the ground, but she wasn’t entirely focused on the pain that was now coursing through her body. When she heard laughter, she couldn’t take it anymore and decided to run. She turned around and run down an alley, searching the skies for her Golbat, but not daring to call him. She thought she heard footsteps approaching her and tears started to form in her eyes, finally coming down when she saw another figure standing a few meters back. She stopped running and her lips started to tremble again as she tried to catch her breath, looking over her shoulder. She didn’t see anyone coming and she didn’t hear footsteps, but she knew that didn’t mean the person that was after her only a few seconds ago was gone. ”Please, don’t hurt me,” she begged the person in front of her, feeling tears rolling down her cheeks again as she averted her gaze back to the person in front of her, not noticing that it was someone she knew. She was far too scared for that.
