ORIGINAL - The Gleam Eyes Pokémon; Luxray has powerful eyesight that is capable of seeing through most objects and walls, like X-ray vision. It uses this ability for hunting and keeping track of its offspring. However, this ability requires a lot of electricity to use. As a result, Luxray needs to sleep for long periods of time in order to store up more energy.

SINNOH - The Flaming Ears Pokémon; This traited Pokémon underwent drastic physcial changes due to unknown reasons. Having a hearing range from under 10Hz and over 150kHz, Luxray is able to hear every possible frequency in the world. This Pokémon lives in dangerous mountains and loves to patrol glaciers and steep cliffs. Luxray uses his incredible hearing to save people and prevent them from falling by keeping them away from its territory. It is believed that these Pokémon are lonely by nature, but thanks to recent studies researchers have found Luxray will always seek out a companion. The love and attention gained by this person will make this Pokémon burn brighter than ever, making its hearing even better in the process.

The Plasma Pokémon; Rotom is a Pokémon that has a body of plasma and is shaped like a lightning rod. There is a whitish blue aura of electricity around it that forms lightning bolt-shaped appendages. It has teeth, and its unique, blue eyes have a dividing line across them. Rotom will often pull pranks on unsuspecting people. Rotom has the ability to enter and control appliances. When Rotom changes form, its eyes and electric aura change colors, and its aura appendages take on different shapes. According to the Rotom Catalog, Rotom in its base form is actually possessing a light bulb. While Rotom typically uses their abilities to make mischief, some Rotom have taken to inhabiting electronics with the intent of helping others. The Rotom Pokédex, found in Alola; and the Rotom Phones, Rotomi, and Drone Rotoms found in Galar, are some examples. Some of these particular forms allow Rotom to speak human languages.

Levitate: Damage dealing Ground-type moves have no effect on this Pokémon. Cannot be trapped by Arena Trap ability. Takes no damage from Spikes.
